A Caribbean honeymoon can truly be pure bliss. With crystal clear turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and refreshing trade winds, it's no wonder so many people consider the Caribbean islands to be paradise.
Of course, every region has its bad apples, and the Caribbean is no exception. Some areas are beset by crime, poverty, and overcrowding, not to mention families with loud and unruly children.

It's important, therefore, to do your research and find a place that is not only safe and clean, but beautiful, idyllic, and romantic - your own little slice of paradise.
I've arranged honeymoons and romantic vacations to some absolutely perfect spots in the Caribbean. The reviews from my travel clients were glowing.
Two perfect choices for a Caribbean honeymoon
One of the places people really loved was a hotel on the beautiful, mountainous island of St. Lucia. The name of that hotel is the Jalousie Plantation (formerly known as the Jalousie Hilton).
This hotel is nestled between two lush peaks on its own private beach, a true tropical paradise. It couldn't be more picture perfect. I had clients who both married and honeymooned here, and they raved about the place.
Another client favorite is on the island of Antigua. It's known as the Galley Bay Resort. I also has clients both get married and honeymoon here, and they couldn't stop raving about it afterwards.
The Galley Bay Resort has won a bunch of awards, including Most Romantic Caribbean Resort (voted by Tripadvisor Travelers Choice), and for good reason - this place is gorgeous, quaint, idyllic, and kid-free! Talk about a romantic paradise!
Another amazing Caribbean honeymoon
Perhaps my favorite Caribbean honeymoon option is a private sailboat charter. A company called Moorings offers sailboat yacht charters out of Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and also in St. Martin, St. Lucia, and several other Caribbean islands.
If you don't know how to sail or simply want to be pampered, Moorings offers two man crews to captain your ship, cook your food, and generally show you around. Imagine sailing into pristine bays on uninhabited islands, and taking a picnic lunch ashore (prepared for you by your crew). Could there be a more perfect or romantic way to spend your honeymoon?
As far as I'm concerned, if you want to explore the Caribbean, it's hard to beat a private sailboat charter, and the price is comparable to that of an upscale all-inclusive resort. Not a bad deal at all!
