The best times to book your trip to Hawaii is in either May or September. Hotels can be up to half off during these months, and airfare is at its lowest too.
As an added bonus, the weather in Hawaii is absolutely spectacular during both these months, not too warm, and not too rainy, So if you can schedule your wedding/honeymoon in either of these months, you can really come out way ahead financially and have a wonderful time too.
Cheap romantic getaways in Mexico
You can save big money booking in Mexico in the off-season as well. In Cabo San Lucas, try booking in the time between spring break and summer vacation or during the fall months. The weather is beautiful there during these months, and prices can actually be quite low.
