What could be more romantic than a Hawaii honeymoon? Hawaii is simply one of the most beautiful places on Earth, blessed with perfect weather, warm, clear water, and miles and miles of pristine coastline.
I have helped plan Hawaiian weddings, honeymoons, and romantic vacations, and therefore, I have had the chance to get to know both the islands and their hotels and resorts quite well.

Oahu is the biggest island in terms of population. Home to Honolulu, Waikiki, and Pearl Harbor, as well as the famed North Shore, Oahu ranges from urban excitement to remote jungle and pristine beaches.
Maui is the second most popular of the islands, and it is home to some of the best hotels in Hawaii, including the Four Seasons Maui, and perhaps the best hotel in Hawaii, the Fairmont Kea Lani.
The Big Island of Hawaii is sparsely populated and home to vast rainforests, towering peaks, and the only actively erupting volcano in Hawaii (or in the world for that matter). It also is home to some wonderful hotels, including the Four Seasons Hualalai and the Hapuna Prince Hotel.
The Hyatt Kauai
Kauai is perhaps the most beautiful and romantic of the islands, home to such wonders as the magnificent Waimea Canyon, the breathtaking Na Pali Coast, and the beautiful Hanalei Bay, home to the wonderful Princeville Hotel.
But perhaps the best hotel on Kauai is the Grand Hyatt Kauai, located on the southern end of the island, on the incredibly Poipu Beach.
Two of the best hotels in all of Hawaii are located not on the four major islands, but on the small and secluded Lanai. The Lodge at Koele, nestled on an old sugar plantation, and the Manele Bay Hotel, offer intimacy and incredibly luxury. Both make amazing choices for a honeymoon.
A Hawaii honeymoon can be thrilling, relaxing, awe-inspiring, or all these things rolled into one. Perhaps the most important part of planning a hawaii honeymoon or romantic vacation is picking the island that best fits your vision of paradise.
